Maltagliati
When you make your own pasta, you will always end up with some scraps, even more if you make ravioli. You can easily recycle this leftover pasta to make maltagliati, meaning "poorly cut" in Italian, which was traditionally meant as food for the poor. We are way past that, and today you can enjoy rich texture and amazing flavor of your pasta without the social stigma ;-)

Honey meat ravioli
This delicious meal is amazingly easy to prepare, as long as you have a pasta machine and ravioli tablet — it's a small grid in which you can prepare ravioli "like a sandwich", then roll out the ready ravioli using a rolling pin. Super easy, and with just very little effort you will end up having a luxurious feast!

Colorful chicken with purple potatoes
This recipe is not for the faint-hearted — it requires some frying skills, but makes a really tasty, delicious meal with a massive wow-factor without any extra hassle :-) I actually got the idea for this, when my local grocery store offered special 1kg packages of Vitelotte, a.k.a. purple potatoes. I wanted to make something tasty, but also colourful and festive, thus this crazy, colourful and festive meal was born! ---|
On good thing about these potatoes is, they seem to lower blood pressure and have inflammatory components, which might be a good thing for a winter meal :-)

Red bean and pepper meatballs
This is my favorite meatballs recipe to date. It's spicy, it's rich, it's deliciously thick and serves as a complete meal on it's own. It's one of my never failed meals, because it's impossible to make it taste bad, it can even survive burning (a bit :P), wrong order of cooking, missing ingredients and virtually any cooking disaster you can imagine ;-)

Teriyaki pork strips with shallots bento
This simple recipe requires only 3 ingredients: sliced pork loin (already mentioned minute steaks or easy steaks), shallots and teriyaki sauce. It's also one of the lazy recipes — part of it you can prepare evening before, and finish it quickly before serving or packing your bento box. Plus, marinating for a long time allows increased flavors to transfer easily across the meat!
