I always wanted to make these, and finally got the guts — oh boy, I wasn't really prepared for the amount of nitty-gritty with making these. I started with original German recipe that called for 500g of almonds, but that ended up being 2 full baking sheets and lots of sneaky snacking between steps ;-) But the result is good, and these cookies are worth the effort.
Drinking yogurt is a terrific drink for autumn — it tastes fresh, contains probiotic bacteria and makes a great dessert or a quick snack, not only during autumn. But during this time of the year it is especially important to keep the natural defense high against viruses and bacteria, and yoghurt is a superb ally in that! Did I mention it tastes great? ;-)
This recipe came to life when I was left with no fresh milk after a short travel — I had only one mini-bottle of a drinkable probiotic yogurt and some condensed milk for coffee (sic!). But against all odds, it worked out!

Still, it's a really tasty alternative to sausages and pork, and chicken made in teriyaki style is juicy, tender and full of aroma! It also takes just few minutes, because the meat is first fried quickly, and then glazed with sauce. Fast food like a boss ;-)
This recipe is simply amazing — great right from the oven, delicious the next day and really easy to prepare. You can also upgrade it with nuts, raisins and whatever you like in your rolls.
Day are shorter now, and the weather is colder as the autumn and winter approach, so it's a good idea to brighten your day with some crispy cookies!
This recipe is really easy and cutting out the cookies is much fun. And of course, then you're left with enormous amount of hot, aromatic cookies that you can share with friends and your close ones.
They are tasty while still hot, but will get better if you leave them on the counter for a day or two, because they will absorb some of the humidity, making them really delicate and delicious!
