My work colleague likes these kind of cakes, so I decided to make one for his birthday this week — it is an apple tart with beautiful pastry decorations: the grid, braided edge and some flower-shaped crisps.
This is literally the simplest bento idea ever — you just sauté the chicken breast pieces to golden color, then add some dried garlic, and voila! The bento is ready for lunch.
Bento doesn't have to be only rice, right? Today I got into adventurous mood with some whole-grain farfalle pasta and tuna paste, with a classic salad-side with tomato slices. Easy, tasty, healthy! :-)
Oh my, look at these irresistible cupcakes! They look like they are just vanilla, but there's some butterscotch in there for a seriously amazing sweetness ending... So perfect!
It's almost weekend (well, at least two-and-a-half days more :P), and most of my new cooking equipment arrived: 200 paper muffin forms, 24-piece set of icing tips, and I'm still waiting for my new muffin tray! :-)
It's going to be a seriously delicious, experimental weekend. I think I will do butterscotch-filled cupcakes with delicious vanilla Italian meringue buttercream, because why not? ;-) Check out my new stuff:
